Can I share with you a story from my mother's side? (Performance & Ritual)
2024.12.13
This is a ritual for reconnecting with the matriarchal cosmos and reconstructing an embodied archive. "Am I narrating a history of a matriarchal society, or performing a story born of imagination?" Around the fire pit, all audiences are regarded as witnesses and recorders. We follow the matriarchal tradition and spirit of sharing, allowing narratives that wander between archives and fiction to be shared, connected, and remembered through the body and its gestures.

Meanwhile,
as waves move through the branches, as sounds gather in the wet wind, as we come together.
around the fire pit, among different bodies and stories, along the matrilineal principle, among ancestral roots, between fiction and archive, where language cannot reach,
wrapped in the sand by the sea, in the echo in the soil, in the hollow where silence rests, in the ritual of walking barefoot,
through the memory of bodies, as the body writes what history forgets.
