This project originated from my collaboration with a Chinese NGO based in Kenya, using storytelling and epistolary fiction to reflect on the role of NGOs under globalisation and the underlying motives of the state apparatus behind them. Through this reflection, I also redefined my own position as an artist and explored how, in this capacity, I could engage with discussions across different cultures and socio-political issues.
